1. Introduction
Accountant’s Hub (“we”, “our”, or “the Platform”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of individuals who use our platform, including accounting professionals (“Candidates”) and companies (“Companies”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data:
2.1 Candidate Data
- Full name
- Contact details (email address, telephone number)
- Professional details (qualifications, experience, certifications, CV, skills)
- Employment preferences
- Any other information voluntarily submitted for profile creation
2.2 Technical & Usage Data
- IP address
- Device and browser information
- Log data and usage analytics
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
We process personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases under the UAE PDPL:
- Explicit consent provided by the data subject
- Performance of a contract or steps taken at the request of the data subject
- Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations
- Legitimate interests, where applicable and not overridden by data subject rights
4. Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Creating and maintaining Candidate profiles
- Listing Candidate profiles on the Platform
- Enabling Companies to view profiles and contact Candidates
- Facilitating communication between Candidates and Companies
- Responding to inquiries and support requests
- Platform administration, security, and improvement
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
5. Profile Visibility & Third-Party Access
By providing explicit consent, Candidates agree that:
- Their profile will be visible to registered Companies on the Platform; and
- Companies may access profile information and contact Candidates directly for job opportunities or professional engagements.
Accountant’s Hub does not control or assume responsibility for how Companies process Candidate data once contact is initiated.
6. Communication Consent
Candidates expressly authorize Accountant’s Hub to contact them via telephone, email, or electronic means for profile-related purposes.
Such communication is carried out at the request and consent of the Candidate, including consent provided in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 56 of 2024.
7. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We may share personal data only in the following circumstances:
- With registered Companies for recruitment and engagement purposes
- With service providers supporting platform operations (under confidentiality obligations)
- Where required by UAE law or regulatory authorities
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8. Data Retention
Personal data shall be retained:
- For as long as the Candidate maintains an active profile; or
- As required to fulfil legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
Candidates may request profile deletion at any time, subject to applicable retention requirements.
9. Data Subject Rights
In accordance with the UAE PDPL, data subjects have the right to:
- Access their personal data
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate data
- Request deletion or restriction of processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Object to processing in certain circumstances

10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
11. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, such transfers shall be conducted in compliance with the UAE PDPL and applicable safeguards.
12. Withdrawal of Consent
Candidates may withdraw consent or request profile removal by contacting us.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
13. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on the Platform with the revised date.
